The 31-year-old actress finally joined the bandwagon as she recently made her Instagram debut.

With exactly two weeks before the premiere of her upcoming tvN series, the "Abyss" star surprised her fans with a series of photos donning a casual yet chic look while wearing an oversized beige coat behind a scenic view of nature.

As for her profile photo, the actress then chose a candid black and white snap with her IG handle @boyoung0212_official. This was also reposted by her agency, BH Entertainment. With just hours since her IG debut, Park Bo Young's Instagram reached 15,800 followers and counting.

Over her comment section and on Twitter, her army of fans seemed to be thrilled as the "Oh My Ghostess" star now has her own IG account. Several users encourage Park Bo Young's fans to follow the South Korean actress on IG.

On the other hand, others can believe that the 31-year-old star has social media. Meanwhile, an individual says that she's looking forward to seeing her upcoming IG posts.

Why is Park Bo Young is Not on Instagram?

Despite years of being in the entertainment industry, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" managed to live a lowkey life and veer away from the spotlight by not joining any social media.

However, she usually updates her fans through the V Live app, a South Korean-based live video streaming service that allows celebrities to broadcast live videos like performances and live chat sessions.

In a 2017 interview, she revealed why she opted not to have an Instagram.

At the time, she hinted about being impulsive and chose to have a journal instead of having social media.

"I'm not as careful as I look, which is why I choose not to do social media. It's really because I don't trust myself. I'm also very easily influenced by my feelings and will impulsively act on my emotions, which is another reason why I don't do social media," adding that she likes writing so she won't "forget any precious memories."

Interestingly, she admitted that having no Instagram also made some of her fans "upset" but mentioned that she often uses V Live to reach out and update fans with her upcoming projects.
