Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si’s Romantic Chemistry in ‘Youth of May’ Captivates Viewers
The newest onscreen couple finally arrived on primetime. Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si are already captivating their viewers' hearts with just the first two episodes of their retro-romance drama, "Youth of May."
Prior to the series premiere, fans were already anticipating the upcoming drama because of the obvious chemistry of its main characters.
The Unforgettable and Unexpected First Date of Hwang Hee Tae and Kim Myung Hee
It may be too early to feed the viewers with romance but Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si are an exemption. The "18 Again" actor plays the role of a handsome and smart medical student, Hwang Hee Tae, who is struggling to continue his studies due to his personal problems.
Go Min Si plays the character of a nurse named Kim Myung Hee. She is the breadwinner of their family.
One day, a great news came that she finally got a scholarship in one of the universities in Germany, but she is worried about the airfare as she doesn't have enough money to pay for the ticket.
Meanwhile, Kim Myung Hee's best friend, Lee Soo Ryeon (Keum Sae Rok), was captured with her other friends while trying to investigate an illegal factory, which happens to be owned by her father.
She was then forgiven by her father and asked for a favor if her friends could be released from prison too. Her favor was granted, but the condition was that she needs to date Hwang Hee Tae.
One Night, Kim Myung Hee and Lee Soo Ryeon met and talked about their problems that keep bothering them.
Lee Soo Ryeon offered to help her best friend to shoulder her airfare but she needs to date Hwang Hee Tae.
And since desperate times call for desperate measures, Kim Myung Hee grabbed the offer.

While waiting for his date, Hwang Hee Tae was occupied by the nurse he saw at the Hospital in Gwangju. He kept on thinking about her, but to his surprise, the woman on his mind appeared in front of him and introduced herself as his date.
This was the start of their romance. Hwang Hee Tae couldn't help but to be happy about their unexpected encounter.

Lee Do Hyun's, aside from his natural charms and overflowing visuals, chemistry with his co-actors is on a whole new level.
"Youth of May" may have just started, but K-drama fans are already feeling the romantic connection between Hwang Hee Tae and Kim Myung Hee.
