'Mine' Drama New Stills Show Lee Bo Young and Kim Seo Hyung Outshine Each Other

Ambitious women going after what they want is always so interesting to watch. This is exactly what the upcoming drama "Mine" seeks to serve its audience. It recently dropped several new stills, and even though they are just pictures, fans can already have a glimpse of how the strong female characters to be played by Lee Bo Young and Kim Seo Young will do anything to secure what they want.

Even if it means having on the right kind of dress, that will help them stand out.

"Mine" New Stills Dropped

"Mine" is a drama about strong and ambitious women overcoming all the limitations set against them because of society's prejudices. It shows that if women want it enough, they will not stop at anything to get what they want.

Lee Bo Young will portray Seo Hee Soo, a former A-list celebrity and wife of the second son of the chaebol family Hyowon Group. On the other hand, Kim Seo Hyung will play Jung Seo Hyun, the equally elegant as well as the wealthy wife of the powerful family's eldest son.

 Naturally, women from such a well-known family do not necessarily get along with each other. They have their own visions and goals and personality quirks. The one thing they might have in common is that they would not let anyone just outshine them, especially another woman.

In the newly-released stills, fans can see these two women try to subtly own a party thrown by the elite Hwoyon Group. The party is no doubt a glamorous event because everyone is dressed up so formally.

Each of the family members was sitting under a blinding chandelier while maids and butlers scuttle around to serve their every need. Naturally, the head of the family and the chairman of Hyowon Group, Mr. Han, is at the party. His commanding presence cannot be easily ignored. The role is played by an equally enigmatic actor, Jung Dong Hwan.

Lee Bo Young and See Hee Soo Clash Through Their Elegant Dresses

Lee Bo Young and Seo Hee Soo were all dressed up. From the pictures alone, it can already be discerned who refuses to follow what is expected of them and who would adhere to conventions and yet won't let this stop them from standing out as well.

While Jung Seo Hyun and most of the family members are dressed in black, Seo Hee Soo dons a bright and bold orange dress, which is quite unconventional in such events. But she does not look tacky. Instead, she positively shines. This hints that she is someone who lives mainly according to her convictions.

On the other hand, even if Jung Seo Hyun has conformed to the dress code, her distinct charms and classy appearance made sure she would not be overshadowed. Just by their dress preferences, it is already quite exciting to see how the two will interact with each other on the show.

For those who cannot wait they will be happy to know that "Mine" is literally just around the corner. It premieres on May 8 at 9 p.m. KST. It replaces the highly successful "Vincenzo" in the same time slot.
