Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 Update: Kim Seon Ho Scores Over One Million Votes + Seo Ye Ji Criticized for Leading the Female Category
Kim Seon Ho continues to top the polls for the TikTok Popularity Award.
With just three days away from Baeksang Arts Awards 2021, fans showed their utmost love and support for the 35-year-old actor after garnering more than one million votes for the said category.
"Start-Up" Kim Seon Ho Remains Unbeatable
As of this writing, the "Start-Up" star received 1.21 million votes, making him the number one male actor for TikTok Popularity Award.
Coming in second place is the "Vincenzo" star Song Joong Ki with 922,450 votes, followed by "It's Okay to Not be Okay" actor Kim Soo Hyun, closing it the top three with 345,330 votes.
Kim Seon Ho Nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Baeksang Arts Awards 2021
Aside from the Popularity Award, Kim Seon Ho, who just celebrated his birthday last May 8, was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor in TV at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
This is for his impeccable portrayal as Han Ji Pyung in the popular drama "Start-Up" together with Bae Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk, and Kang Han Na.
Interestingly, this Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 nomination is his first-ever recognition in the prestigious ceremony.
However, when it comes to achievements, Kim Seon Ho is not an amateur in this field.
The 35-year-old celebrity bagged two awards at the 2017 MBC Drama Awards, nabbing the Excellent Actor for Monday & Tuesday drama as well as Best New Actor for the drama "Two Cops."

Seo Ye Jin Still Leads the Female Category for TikTok Popularity Award
With Kim Seon Ho leading the male category, Seo Ye Jin reigns at the top spot for the TikTok Popularity Star.
Unfortunately, unlike the "Start-Up" star, the 31-year-old actress was criticized online after leading the poll since the voting started.
To recall, the Secretariat of the award-giving body announced the start of the voting from April 3 to May 10.
This special award will be given to one man and woman who have garnered the most number of votes.
Despite her controversy, the "It's Okay to Not be Okay" actress has cemented her name in the rankings after scoring 731,150 votes, as of this writing.
She was followed by "Mr. Queen" star Shin Hye-sun with almost 637,000 votes while coming in at third is the "River Where The Moon Rises" actress Kim So Hyun with 207,090 votes.
Unfortunately, it appears that not all netizens were happy with her winning position.
It came after an outlet highlighted how the users called out the actress for dominating the Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 polls.
Some of the negative comments include "LOL, are the two women receiving #1 and #2 going to show up and accept the award?" and "What is happening among the actresses in this category."
Despite being questioned by some, her loyal fans expressed their support by hyping the actress on Twitter and encouraging others to vote.

Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 is slated this May 13 and will be hosted by comedian Shin Dong Yup and Bae Suzy.
