Korean Drama ‘Law School’ to Release Commentary Special Episode With Kim Bum, Ryu Hye Young, Lee Soo Kyung, Lee David and Go Youn Jung
K-drama "Law School" is gaining massive attention from the public due to its intense and unpredictable scenes featuring Kim Myung Min, Kim Bum, Ryu Hye Young, and Lee Jung Eun.
Despite being compared to the U.S crime thriller series "How to Get Away with Murder," the JTBC drama proved that they are not your ordinary crime drama.
"Law School" to Air Special Commentary Episode
As the "Law School" viewership rating slowly climbs up the chart, the broadcast network is set to release a special episode ahead of its episode 9.
Scheduled to air on May 10 at 9 pm KST, the "Law School Commentary" will highlight the secret surrounding Hankuk University and the inexplicable death of Professor Seo Byeong Joo, played by Ahn Nae Sang.
Following the announcement, the "Law School" cast featuring Kim Bum, Ryu Hye Young, Lee Soo Kyung, Lee David, and Go Youn Jung is set to appear in the special episode.
There, the cast, who portrays first-year law students, will be spending 60 minutes with the viewers answering undisclosed stories between the characters.
In a report obtained by a South Korean publication, a representative from the production team gave a few hints regarding the commentary episode.
The official mentioned that this is an "opportunity to find the contents of an event that you did not understand" or the easter egg or hidden message in the drama.
"Law School" Episode 10 On Pause to Give Way to Baeksang Arts Awards 2021
With JTBC drama's special episode, "Law School," episode 9 is set to air on May 12, while the 10th episode will not air on May 13 to give way to the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
To recall, the prestigious ceremony is slated on the 13th and was organized by Ilgan Sports and JTBC Plus.
Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 will take place in a socially distanced event at Ilsanseo-gu, Gyeonggi Province, hosted by comedian Shin Dong-yup and actress Bae Suzy.
"Law School" Among the Buzz Worthy Drama
Following its premiere last April 14, the JTBC crime thriller evening program landed on the most buzzworthy dramas as cited by Good Data Corporation.
For the week of April 26 to May 2, "Law School" hit the eighth spot next to OCN's new drama "Dark Hole."
Meanwhile, tvN's "Vincenzo" starring Song Joong Ki topped the rank, followed by SBS's "Taxi Driver," featuring the transformation of Lee Je Hoon.
"Law School" follows the story of a group of students at Hankuk University and their professors involved in Professor Seo's mysterious death.
With the investigation of the murder, the character's involvement and dark secret will be slowly coming to light.
Yang Jong Hoon, played by Kim Myung Min, who is a former elite prosecutor turned criminal law professors, is currently poised as the primary suspect.
