'Descendants of the Sun' Star Song Hye Kyo Thanked Park Hyung Sik for a Very Thoughtful Gesture

Song Hye Kyo is certainly not just loved by her fans but well cared for by her friends. The star recently witnessed a very thoughtful gesture from her friend, Park Hyung Sik, prompting her to thank him in public.

Another Day, Another Coffee Truck For Song Hye Kyo

Song Hye Kyo truly has the nicest set of friends. Ever since she started shooting for the "Nw, We Are Breaking Up," two of her friends already sent in coffee trucks for her and the rest of the crew and cast.

On May 18, the actress took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of a coffee truck that Park Hyung Sik sent her and wrote a sweet message of gratitude.

The coffee cup sleeve that Park Hyuk Sik also sent in had a very thoughtful message scribbled in. It reads, "I support Hye Kyo and the 'Now, We Are Breaking Up' team!"

The gift was made even more meaningful because it included several encouraging banners as well - one in horizontal and one vertical. The horizontal one uses tweaked the title of the drama a bit and changed it into, "Now, I am Rooting for You." On the other hand, the vertical one reads, "Please enjoy and cheer up."

While the message could be a sweet, ordinary one from one friend to another, especially from someone in the same business and knows how tiring it could be, one cannot help but wonder if Song Hye Kyo is going through something today. The message "cheer up" seems to be implying the actress is not that okay.

It remains to be seen if what could be bothering the actress would one day make the news.

"Now, We Are Breaking Up" is one of the two shows that Song Hye Kyo is part of for 2021. It is a star-studded one. Apart from Song Hye Kyo, the other cast members include Jang Ki Yong, Choi Hee Seo, Kim Joo Heon, EXO's Sehun, and Girl's Day's Yura, and many more.

Yoo Ah In Sent a Coffee Truck Earlier This Month Too

Earlier this month, Yoo Ah In sent in a coffee truck for his friend and the rest of the cast and crew of "Now, We are Breaking Up," as well. Similarly, at the time, the actress went to her IG stories and thanked her friend, addressing him in his real name. "Thank You, Mr. Hong Sik," she wrote.

At the time, the coffee truck also had a horizontal and a vertical banner in place. One of them told Song Hye Kyo to be strong, the other one is addressed to the crew of the show, telling them to keep on fighting.

Sending each other coffee trucks is starting to appear quite common among Song Hye Kyo and her circle of friends, though. It can be remembered that two years ago, way before the pandemic happened, the actress sent in her good friend of IU, a coffee truck on the latter's 'Hotel de Luna' set as support for her filming.

"Now, We Are Breaking Up" is set to premiere on June 2021.
