‘Revolutionary Sisters’ Beats 'Penthouse 3’ in Top Entertainment Product Chart + ‘Law School’ Ranks No. 1 in OTT Channel

"Revolutionary Sisters" managed to outshine the megahit K-drama "Penthouse 3" in the entertainment product chart.

As cited by Nielsen Korea, the comedy romance drama starring Hong Eun Hee, Jeon Hye Bin, Go Won Hee, and Lee Bo Hee ranked number one as top-rating TV series during the first week of June.

It came after the KBS2 drama garnered a recorded average of 26.1 percent of viewership rating.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited third season of "Penthouse: War In Life" came in second with an average of 18.3 percent.

As expected, the highly anticipated SBS evening drama managed to achieve a successful debut last June 4.

Despite landing the second spot in the entertainment product chart, "Penthouse 3" episode 1 achieved its highest viewership rating to date compared to its previous season.

In addition, the talked about premiere made it as the most-watched Friday program of any kind to air on any channel.

Interestingly, the third and fourth spot was a close fight between "Miss Montecristo" and "Be My Dream Family."

The KBS 2TV suspense romance drama ranked third with a 16.3 percent rating, followed by the comedy-drama starring Choi Jung Woo, Park Joon Geum, Wang Ji Hye, and more with 16.3 percent.

Capping off the fifth spot is the tv show "My Little Old Boy," with a 13.9 percent viewership rating.

"Law School" Reigns in OTT Channels

As for OTT channels, K-drama "Law School" maintains its reign as the most-watched Netflix drama.

The crime mystery series, starring Kim Myung Min, Kim Bum, Lee Jung Eun, and Ryu Hye Young, has been on the top spot for two consecutive weeks.

The hit drama, which is about to air its season finale, has been receiving a favorable response with soaring viewership ratings.

"Law School" is followed by Netflix's original movie "Sour and Sweet," which came in second place.

The exciting storyline about a couple who endures their long-distance relationship and challenges piques the viewer's interest.

Meanwhile, landing in third place is Kakao TV's original drama "Mad for Each Other," followed by thriller mystery drama "Mine," which has been gaining popularity with its shocking revelation per episode.

Lastly, the competition variety show "Steel Troop" completed the top five entertainment product charts.

"Conjuring 3" Leads the Box Office

Moving to movies, "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It" reigned at the box office with a cumulative audience of 345,763.

Released on June 3, it is the third installment for the smash hit American supernatural horror film, directed by Michael Chaves.

This was followed by another foreign film, "Cruella" starring Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil.

Meanwhile, hitting the third spot is the action film "F9," which is a sequel to Vin Diesel's "Fast and the Furious."

Coming in at fourth place is the animation movie "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" while sealing the fifth spot is the anomaly Korean movie "Pipeline" starring Seo In Guk, Lee Soo Hyuk, Eum Moon Suk, and Yoo Seung Mok.
