‘Hospital Playlist 2’ Episode 7 Broadcast Delayed Due to COVID-19 + Set to Air Special Episode Instead
The top rating K-drama will have a slight adjustment over their broadcast in the coming week. With this, the airing of Hospital Playlist 2 episode 7 will be canceled due to COVID-19 issues.
Hospital Playlist 2 Episode 7 Suspended
According to YTN, a representative revealed that a special episode is set to air on June 29 instead of Hospital Playlist 2 episode 7.
In a statement, the tvN official explained that the delay of broadcast is because of the overlapping of filming schedules brought by the health crisis as well as the script quality.
"I understand that the show was canceled for a week due to the overlap between the quality of the script and the delay of the filming schedule due to COVID-19," the representative mentioned, adding, "Currently, the production team has started editing the special episode."
Meanwhile, the special episode is set to cover commentary videos from the lead stars and thoughts on the previous season.
"The special episode will be broadcast on the 29th. We will take a closer look at the commentary videos in which the actors participated, as well as the collection of NGs, and the contents of the first half of the broadcast," the tvN official added.

tvN Drops Hospital Playlist 2 Episode 6 Teaser
Despite the slight changes on broadcast dates, Hospital Playlist 2 episode 6 is set to air this week, July 22.
The upcoming episode will showcase new challenges and fun moments between the lead stars Jeon Mi Do, Kim Dae Myung, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jo Jung Suk, and the rest of the Yulje Medical Center staff.
Based on the latest teaser released by tvN, it appears that the main character and residents of the hospital are not just the ones who will be put to the test but also the medical interns Jang Yoon Bok and Jang Hong Do, played by Jo Yi Hyun and Bae Hyun Sung.
Meanwhile, Kim Jun Wan, Chae Song Hwa, Yang Seok Hyung, and Ahn Jung Won face struggles as they deal with their respective patients.
Hospital Playlist 2 Episode 5 Highlights
The top medical K-drama never fails to make the viewers laugh and cry at the same time as the previous episode displayed a series of developments between the 99ers, their loved ones, and the residents of the Yulje Medical Center staff.
In Hospital Playlist 2 episode 5, Yang Seok Hyung, played by Kim Dae Myung, revealed the reason behind his divorce from ex-wife Yoon Shin Hye (Park Ji Yun).
During his heart-to-heart conversation with Chae Song Hwa (Jeon Mi Do), he revealed that his mother, Jo Young Hye (Moon Hee Kyung), played a significant role in his marriage fallout.
With this, Shin Hye becomes distant and quiet as they get closer to their divorce.
However, Song Hwa opted not to choose sides and explained to her best friend that he also had his fault why the marriage did not work, to which he agreed.
On the other hand, Hospital Playlist 2 episode 5 also featured a heartbreaking scene between Kim Jun Wan (Jung Kyung Ho) and Lee Ik Soon (Kwak Sun Young) as she returns to South Korea for her transplant.
