Namgoong Min proved himself as an excellent actor of his time after appearing in various diverse and versatile roles in both small and silver screens.
His new action-spy series "The Veil" tells the story of Han Ji Hyuk, an elite spy agent at the National Intelligence Service (NIS), who went off the grid for a year without any trace.
Han Ji Hyuk returns as a member of a notorious crime syndicate to find out the onw who betrayed him and threw him into the abyss.

In the newly published poster, the 44-year-old star is surrounded by unknown people clad in suit, and with faces hidden as the men were wearing balaclavas.
The actor sports a weary and vigilant expression on his face. His stance as he holds a gun with his wounds and bloody clothes imply the danger and horror that the actor faces in the drama.
The newly released poster amplified the fans and viewers' curiosity about the culprit behind Han Ji Hyuk's disappearance.

MBC's new spy action drama "The Veil" is "Remember: War of the Son" actor Namgoong Min's first project on the small screen after starring in the mystery thriller "Awaken" with "Orange Marmalade" actress Seolhyun, "Beautiful World" actress Lee Chung Ah, and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" actor Yoon Sun Woo.
Alongside actor Namgoong Min is Park Ha Sun to portray Seo Soo Yeon, the head of the Center for Criminal Information Investigation.
Kim Ji Eun also stars in the series as Yoo Je Yi, Han Ji Hyuk's partner and co-worker.
Jang Young Nam, Kwon So Hyun, and seasoned actors Kim Byung Ki, Lee Geung Young, and Yu Oh Seong will be also appearing in the drama series.

'The Veil' Release Date
"The Veil" is MBC's 60th Anniversary Special Project and is in the midst of filming. It is helmed by Director Kim Seong Yong and screenwriter Park Seok Ho.

The new drama series is scheduled to premiere on MBC every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. KST.
