‘Penthouse 3’ Episode 9: Lee Ji Ah, Park Eun Seok, and Yoon Jong Hoon Plot Revenge against Uhm Ki Joon and Kim So Yeon

'Penthouse 3' Viewership Rating Soars to 15.5 Percent
According to Nielsen Korea, the drama's recent broadcast managed to sustain their increasing viewership rating by achieving a 15.5 percent nationwide rating despite the slight adjustment on their time slot due to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Not only did "Penthouse 3: War in Life" maintain its soaring rating, but it continued to be the most-watched show aired on Friday as well as the most-watched miniseries for the whole week.

'Penthouse 3' Episode 9 Highlights: The Trio's Sweet Revenge
The latest episode starts with Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon), showing how eager she is to kill Logan Lee as she continues her plan to take everything away from Shim Su Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah.)
It came after the retired primadonna injected a poison that would weaken his heart.
Luckily, Ha Yoon Chul (Yoon Jong Hoon) noticed an empty vial and immediately gave Logan Lee an antidote.
As he regained consciousness, he instructed Dr. Ha to call his twin brother Alex for help.
With hopes of confusing Seo Jin that he is dead, Alex's men moved his brother from a safe house.
There, Logan Lee told everything to Su Ryeon--from Joo Dan Tae's (Uhm Ki Joon) assassination to Seo Jin's plans on Shim Su Ryeon.
"I will punish Joo Dan Tae in my own way," he said, adding, "There is no such thing as tolerance anymore. It will make you deeply regret touching someone wrongly."
Ha Yoon Chul also promised to join the duo with the motive of avenging the tragic death of Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene.)
"I am also with you. Let's do it together," he mentioned.
First Step: To Get Rid of Baek Joon Ki
Shim Su Ryeon, Logan Lee, and Ha Yoon Chul start by getting rid of Baek Joon Ki (Ohn Joo Wan.)
After learning that he is an accomplice of Seo Jin and betrayed Logan Lee, his group kidnapped him and brought Joon Ki to their hideout.
Logan Lee revealed that he would return to the mental institution as punishment for his betrayal and connivance with Seo Jin.
The Trio Targets Jin Bun Hong + Discovered that Seo Jin Killed Oh Yoon Hee

As the Hera Palace chairman celebrates his new success, his wife sent a congratulatory message alongside a video showing Logan Lee's accident and exposing that he was behind the assassination.

Meanwhile, at the Cheong-A foundation inauguration, where Seo Jin is being welcomed as the new director, she received a massive gift with a lovely note from Joo Dan Tae.
Unfortunately, upon unveiling the giant portrait, a picture of her father and the late founder of Cheong A, Cheon Myung Soo, with the words "It was Cheon Seo-jin who killed Cheon Myung Soo," surprised the crowd, including Seo Jin.
Interestingly, the two confronted each other, radiating intense anger as they both blamed each other for the surprising revelation.
