Historical Drama Princess Kim Yoo Jung Transforms Into Hong Chun Gi in New Titular Drama
On August 10, SBS TV's new historical fantasy drama series "Lovers of the Red Sky" (also known as "Red Sky" and "Hong Chun Gi") released new stills featuring Nation's Little Sister and Saeguk Fairy Kim Yoo Jung.
Actress Kim Yoo Jung started her career as younger versions of the main female characters. She rose to fame after taking on the main role in fantasy historical rom-com drama "Love in the Moonlight" with gorgeous actor "Park Bo Gum," "My First First Love" actor Jinyoung, "Where Stars Land" actress Chae Soo Bin, and "Vincenzo" actor Kwak Dong Yeon.
Kim Yoo Jung To Play Genius Painter 'Hong Chun Gi'
The "Love in the Moonlight" actress is set to portray the role of genius painter Hong Chun Gi, the Joseon dynasty's only female painter who was blind since birth but regains her vision one miraculous day.
In the newly released stills, Kim Yoo Jung gave us a sneak peek of her character in the new titular drama.
Her sweet smile lights up the surroundings around her, emphasizing the female painter's beauty.

"Lovers Of The Red Sky'' is a historical fantasy romance drama that depicts the mystic story of painter Hong Chun Gi who entered the painting academy for the first time but held unique and distinctive aesthetic skills and knowledge.
The 23-year-old actress co-stars alongside "Abyss" star Ahn Hyo Seop who will be playing the role of Ha Ram, the blind astrologer who reads the stars and sky despite his condition.

On the other hand, "Be Melodramatic" star Gong Myung will play the role of the romantic and free-spirited Prince Anpyeong, who loves poetry, art, books, and love.
Actor Kwak Si Yang also joins him as the ambitious Prince Sooyang, who is full of determination and will do anything to get what he desires.
