‘Lovers of the Red Sky’ Releases First Stills Featuring Mysterious Visuals of Ahn Hyo Seop
On August 9, SBS TC's new historical fantasy romance drama "Lovers of the Red Sky" (also called "Red Sky" or "Hong Chun Gi") released its first still cuts featuring "Abyss" actor Ahn Hyo Seop.
The upcoming drama series stars "Love in the Moonlight" actress Kim Yoo Jung, "The Bride of Habaek" actor Gong Myung, and "Oh My Ghost" actor Kwak Si Yang.
Ahn Hyo Seop To Portray The Role of a Blind Astrologer
Actor Ahn Hyo Seop rose to fame and stole the spotlight after taking on the lead role in MBC's 2017 romance fantasy drama series "Queen of the Ring" with SNL Korea entertainer and actress Kim Seul Gi.
In 2019, he also worked with "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" stress Park Bo Young in romantic comedy fantasy crime drama "Abyss".
He also starred in "Dr. Romantic" opposite "Doctors" actress Lee Sung Kyung. He received the Best New Actor award in the 56th Baeksang Arts Award for his exemplary acting performance.
The promising actor will now be taking on the role of the blind astrologer, Ha Ram, who has a heart for the stars and sky.

In the drama, Kim Yoo Jung will be portraying the role of a beautiful and talented painter who works for the Korean Royal Academy of Painting.
Opposite Ha Ram, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, is a blind astrologer who has the ability to read the stars and sky.

"Lovers of the Red Sky" is scheduled to premiere on SBS in August.
