VICTON’s Choi Byung Chan to Play as Kim Sejeong’s Brother in ‘The Office Blind Date’
Idol-actor Choi Byung Chan (VICTON) will make his return in the acting field as he has been confirmed to play as Kim Sejeong's younger brother in the drama "The Office Blind Date."
VICTON's Choi Byung Chan Cast to Join Kim Sejeong in 'The Office Blind Date'
On August 13, Choi Byung Chan's agency Play M Entertainment announced his participation in the upcoming series.
According to an official, "VICTON member Choi Byung Chan has been cast to play the role of Shin Ha Min in SBS' new series 'The Office Blind Date.'"
The VICTON member takes on the role of Shin Ha Min, Shin Ha Ri's (Kim Sejeong) handsome younger brother. Although Shin Ha Min seems immature due to his arrogant side, he will captivate the viewers with his hidden caring side for his family.
This will be the first project of Choi Byung Chan and Kim Sejeong together. As they both work on stage and on screen, fans are already anticipating what they can bring to the table as they show their relationship as chaotic siblings.
Choi Byung Chan is the third celebrity to be revealed as part of the cast for the upcoming SBS drama.
Recently, "Mr. Queen" actress Seol In Ah also confirmed her participation and will star as Kim Sejeong's best friend.
"The Office Blind Date" will also be a reunion drama project for Kim Sejeong and Seol In Ah following their drama "School 2017."
"The Office Blind Date" is scheduled to air in the first half of 2022.

Choi Byung Chan to Participate in KBS Drama 'Yeonmo'
As Choi Byung Chan continued to boost his potential, he also gained more acting opportunities.
Following his stint at JTBC's "Live On" along with NU'EST's Hwang Minhyun, Choi Byung Chan will star in the upcoming KBS drama "Yeonmo."
The filming production was put on hold due to COVID-19, and recently, a fire accident occurred on the set of the drama. There are no further details yet when the drama will resume its filming schedule.
Meanwhile, apart from showing perfect live performances on stage, Choi Byung Chan also received praises for his acting in his first-ever acting role in "Live On."
Now that he is busy working with his group activities and acting projects, fans could not be happier to see him excelling in both industries.
On the other hand, Choi Byung Chan's group member Han Seung Woo recently participated in singing the OST of the fantasy drama "The Witch's Diner."
