Dar Adal continues to work for Saul Berenson, now the acting Chief of the Central Intelligence Agency. And on the teaser videos released by Showtime for Episode 8, Adal is seen in a brief meeting with Bennett convincing him “to come clean.”

Bennett, played by Martin Donovan is part of a Washington D.C. firm that employed Majid Javadi. Javid, portrayed by Shaun Toub is a Middle Eastern intelligence officer and his lawyer is connected to the firm that helped get Carrie Mathison out of the psych ward.

In the teaser released by Showtime, Adal, played by F. Murray Abrahan, was doing his very best to convince Bennett to cooperate in an investigation being conducted by a team or institution he refused to disclose.

Adar began by telling Bennett that the latter’s firm came out more than a couple of times in an inquiry he was privy of. When asked by Bennett “in what light,” was his firm being investigated upon, Adal again refused to give him the information he needed.

Failure to gain Bennet’s confidence, Adal pointed out that cooperation would allow Bennet to avoid what he described as a “bruising investigation.” Bennet remained unfazed and he left Adal, saying he was not threatened, adding he has nothing to hide.

The teaser has given “Homeland” devoted fans some stuff to think about. It will lead one to ask tough questions such as:
- Who is Adal working for?
- Is Adal doing some job for Saul Berenson?
- Is Bennett behind the U.S. bombing?
- How is Brody linked to U.S. bombing now?
- Where is Brody?

“Homeland” Season 3 Episode 8 airs on Showtime 8pm, Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013.
