‘Mokkoji Kitchen’ Episode 1: B1A4 Gongchan Reunites With Nam Kyu Hee in a Shockingly Awkward Situation
The first episode of the new quirky romance comedy "Mokkoji Kitchen" starring B1A4 member Gongchan and "Check The Event" actress Nam Kyu Hee has been released on YouTube.
"Mokkoji Kitchen" not only highlighted its famous and delicious recipes but also gave emphasis to the shockingly awkward mini-reunion of Gongchan and Kyu Hee.
'Mokkoji Kitchen' Episode 1: Chef Moo Young and College Student Ro In Reunite in His One-Man Restaurant
The first episode of "Mokkoji Kitchen" told the story of the first unusual meeting between Chef Moo Young and "restaurant navigator" and college student Ro In, played by B1A4 member Gongchan and actress Nam Kyu Hee respectively.
Hungry, college student Ro In tried to order tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) but couldn't eat the food as she suddenly craved a different cuisine.
She then ordered fried chicken. Luckily, it was quickly delivered to her humble home. As she was receiving her order, Ro In ran into a strangely handsome young man in front of her house whose name was Moo Young.
Because Moo Young also ordered his food which Ro In failed to order, she invited her to eat together, she said, "Being neighbors is all about sharing".
At Moo Young's house, the two neighbors deliciously enjoyed their chicken and tteokbokki. While eating, Moo Young introduced himself as an expert knife-handler, which alarmed the former.
Her heart beat faster after seeing a scar on the young man's arm and an expensive-looking knife on the table. Feeling an unusually scary vibe, she quickly ran away back to her house.

At the end of the episode, Moo Young and Ro In once again met each other as a chef and a guest in Moo Young's fancy restaurant.
While Moo Young showed his nice and heart-fluttering smile, Ro In was temporarily stunned at his presence, which raises curiosity as to what kind of encounter will happen in its succeeding episodes.
'Mokkoji Kitchen' Production and Release Date
B1A4 Gongchan and "Check The Event" actress Nam Kyu Hee's "Mokkoji Kitchen" is a web drama produced by WHYNOT Media and Kok TV.
It is also a part of the 2021 Hallyu Life Culture Project by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism together with the Korea International Cultural Exchange Promotion Agency, which aims to showcase web dramas, including "Mokkoji Kitchen," to promote the culture and life in Korea around the world including Russia, India, and Indonesia.
The masterpiece of a drama is helmed by filmmaker Gil Hwa Jeong and will air online from September 6 to November 14.
"Mokkoji Kitchen" is available for online streaming on Mokkoji Korea YouTube Channel.
