The long-awaited on-screen reunion of Suzy and Kim Seon-ho is finally happening. Disney+ Korea officially announced today that the duo will headline the upcoming mystery-thriller Delusion, set to premiere in 2026.

Based on the popular webtoon by Hongjacga, Delusion is set in 1935 Gyeongseong (modern-day Seoul). The story follows Yun Yi-ho (Kim Seon-ho), a struggling artist commissioned to paint a portrait of the enigmatic Song Jeong-hwa (Suzy), the reclusive owner of the Nammoon Hotel.

As Yi-ho explores more of his work, he uncovers a chilling pattern: previous artists have vanished under mysterious circumstances, and Jeong-hwa harbors a dark, centuries-old secret—she's a vampire.

A Reunion Fans Have Been Waiting For

This marks the first collaboration between Suzy and Kim Seon-ho since their roles in the 2020 hit drama Start-Up, where their characters' chemistry left fans yearning for more. The announcement of their reunion in Delusion has sparked excitement across social media platforms, with fans expressing their anticipation for the duo's return to the screen.

Directed by Han Jae-rim, known for The King and Emergency Declaration, Delusion promises a blend of suspense, fantasy, and romance. The series is produced by Showbox and Magnum Nine and is slated for a 10-episode run exclusively on Disney+. Filming began earlier this year, with production scheduled between March and May.

With Disney+ expanding its Korean drama offerings, Delusion is poised for a global release in 2026. The series' unique blend of historical setting, supernatural elements, and star-studded cast positions it as a must-watch for K-drama enthusiasts worldwide.

Stay tuned for more updates on Delusion as production progresses and the premiere date approaches.
