‘Penthouse 3’ and ‘Lovers of the Red Sky’ Outshines ‘Hospital Playlist 2’ as Most Buzzworthy Drama

"Penthouse 3" returned as the leading drama alongside fellow SBS series "Lovers of the Red Sky" for the current rankings of most buzzworthy dramas.

Good Data Corporation released the weekly standing of dramas and actors that generated the most buzz from August 30 to September 5.

This is based on blog posts, news articles, online communities, videos, and social media that include current or upcoming series.

SBS' 'Penthouse 3' and 'Lovers of the Red Sky' Beats 'Hospital Playlist 2'

For four consecutive weeks, the top rating medical K-drama "Hospital Playlist 2" reigned the rankings through its heartwarming scenes between the beloved doctors and staff at Yulje Medical Center.

Unfortunately, the 99ers took a step back and slid to fourth place as "Penthouse 3: War in Life" hailed as the most buzzworthy drama from August 30 to September 5.

The changes come ahead of the much-awaited finale as the tvN series only has two episodes left before bidding goodbye to fans.

Moreover, it is safe to say that the one-week hiatus of "Hospital Playlist 2" played a significant role in its ranking after the drama had to postpone its episode 11 to give way to the broadcast of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

On the other hand, the historical fantasy drama "Lovers of the Red Sky" starring Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop climbs from fifth to second place.

In addition, the Monday and Tuesday night series did not only reach the second spot but also showed soaring viewership ratings since its premiere.

Meanwhile, tvN's "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" remained in third place for two consecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, another on-screen couple, Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Yoo Jung came in third and fourth place, respectively.

Interestingly, the SBS revenge drama dominated the current ranking as four from the "Penthouse 3" cast were included.

Kim So Yeon landed in fifth while Lee Ji Ah, Choi Ye Bin, and Yoon Jong Hoon came at eighth, ninth, and tenth.
