BTOB's Yook Sung Jae and singer Yuk Joong Wan were on the list. They are from the Okcheon Yuk Clan, and Yuk Joong Wan is said to be a superior of the village leader. Park Won Sook and Record of Youth actress Park So Dam are in a sixth cousin relationship.
From all the artists mentioned in the list, Goblin actor Gong Hyo and When the Camellia Blooms actress Gong Hyo Jin ranked first. The two were never rumored to be dating each other because they are actually in the same clan.
Aside from that, Gong Hyo Jin and Gong Hyo are real-life friends. They are also signed to the same label under Management Soop.
For additional trivia, 15 years ago, the Korean government had a law that banned any Korean person from marrying someone from the same clan with the same last name.
In 1997, it was the third time that the ban was lifted and finally, the courts ruled the law unconstitutional.

Gong Yoo's Appearance in Netflix's Megahit Kdrama Squid Game + To Return with a New Sci-Fi Kdrama
A-List actor Gong Yoo made a special appearance in Hwang Dong Hyuk's Squid Game. Even though it was a short screen time, the male celebrity made a big impact on the viewers. Many were also surprised to see him again act in a drama. His latest series was still in 2016 with Goblin. Good news for all his fans, Gong Yoo will finally make his small screen return in the second half of 2021. The Coffee Prince star is set to meet the viewers in the upcoming sci-fi and mystery series Silent Sea. It will also be produced under Netflix.

The It's Okay, That's Love actress currently appears in her new show Gong Gong Land, which already aired last September. Korean celebrities and real-life couple Jeon Hye Jin and Lee Chun Hee are also part of the show.
