Tving's 'Midnight' Wins Special Awards at the 13th British Grimmfest Film Festival
The suspense-thriller movie "Midnight" starring Wi Ha Joon and Jin Ki Joo bagged two trophies at the British Grimmfest Film Festival, namely Best Feature and Special Mention in the Best Actress category.
British Grimmfest Film Festival is said to be one of the best film festivals selected by Movie Maker, a known global film magazine. A film enthusiast said that it is noteworthy that "Midnight" swept awards in major categories at such a prestigious film festival. It showed the results of the actors and the production team's effort in the project.

The producer of "Midnight," Kim Hyun Woo, expressed his gratitude toward the viewers who watched the movie and the film festival officials worldwide.
"Through the love and praises that the movie received at the film festival, our production company was greatly comforted and honored. And as a reward to the avid supporters, we will continue to create and produce other compelling movies soon," CEO Kim Hyun Woo said.
Before concluding his message, Kim Hyun Woo also thanked the actors who participated in "Midnight," including the staff and director Kwon Oh Seung.

Meanwhile, the chief programmer of the British Grimmfest Film Festival, Steve Balshaw, praised the Korean movie "Midnight" for its outstanding concept. He added that the actors have powerful acting that makes the movie more exciting to watch.
The event was held in Manchester last October 25 through Facebook live streaming.
"Midnight" depicts the struggle story of a deaf Kyung Mi (Jin Ki Joo). She works as a sign language teacher at the sign language call center. One night, when she was on her way home, she witnessed a murder on a street in Seoul. Since then, she became the next target of the serial killer Do Sik (Wi Ha Joon).
Tving's original action-thriller movie "Midnight" was also invited at the 25th Fantasia International Film Festival last August and successfully won the Audience Award.
Meanwhile, Wi Ha Joon and Tving shared the good news on their Instagram accounts.
