"Jirisan" starring Ju Ji Hoon and Jun Ji Hyun proves its reign after recovering from a slight dip in terms of viewership rating.

To recall, the thriller mystery drama failed to sustain a perfect streak after falling short on its third episode.

Interestingly, the Kdrama managed to bounce back from the slump after garnering an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent.

Moreover, "Jirisan" also took the top spot as the most-watched Saturday and Sunday night series on its timeslot across all cable channels.

To recall, the Lee Eung Bok directed series achieved a record-breaking viewership during its premiere.

It came after "Jirisan" viewership ratings soared to 9.097 percent nationwide while 9.671 percent in metropolitan areas.

It is also tvN's second-highest viewership rating during a drama debut, next to the beloved medical Kdrama "Hospital Playlist 2," which got a nationwide rating of 10.0 percent.

Interestingly, this was followed by a double-digit rating, scoring 10.663 percent nationwide and 12.226 percent in metropolitan areas.

Unfortunately, the percentage slides to a nationwide rating of 7.9 percent on the third episode after "Jirisan" faced criticisms regarding its poor CGI effects despite having a whopping production budget.

Viewers can catch the next episode of Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon's Kdrama on November 8 at 9 p.m. KST via Qiyi and tvN.

While "Jirisan" reclaims its spot with a modest increase, Park Hae Soo, Lee Hee Joon and Cladia Kim's Kdrama "Chimera" gain a slight development in viewership rating.

According to Nielsen Korea, the OCN thriller mystery series jumps from its 0.8 percent debut rating to scoring an average nationwide rating of 1.4 percent for its second episode.

Slowly but surely, the Saturday and Sunday drama will captivate the viewers' interest with its compelling action scenes from the star-studded cast.

With this, viewers are looking forward to a surprising revelation between violent crimes detective Cha Jae Hwan, played by the "Squid Game" star and profiler Eugene Hathaway, portrayed by Claudia Kim.

Lee Young Ae's 'Inspector Koo' Maintains Modest Viewership Rating

Meanwhile, another newly released Kdrama is gaining the attention of the public as the OG Hallyu star Lee Young Ae made a comeback on the small screen with her new series "Inspector Koo."

For its second episode, the action thriller JTBC drama sustained its viewership rating after garnering an average nationwide rating of 2.6 since its debut.

Moreover, some fans over Twitter also lauded the "Kingdom" actress Kim Hye Joon and her role as the female serial killer named "K."

Catch "Inspector Koo" episode 3 on November 6 at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC and Netflix.
