Kim So Hyun, Lee Do Hyun, and Sung Si Kyung Confirmed to Host 2021 KBS Drama Awards
Award-winning actors Lee Do Hyun, Kim So Hyun, and singer Sung Si Kyung were selected to be the MCs for the upcoming 2021 KBS Drama Awards.
The media were glad to announce the three names to host this year's KBS award show. After proving their excellence in acting, Lee Do Hyun and Kim So Hyun will stand together on stage to present the nominees and winners of the said upcoming event. Joining them is Sung Si Kyung, who is an established singer and composer that serenades many with his beautiful songs.
Apart from mastering their crafts, Sung Si Kyung, Lee Do Hyun, and Kim So Hyun are also known for their stable hosting skills, and their presence is already getting anticipation from the fans and viewers.
Things to Know About the Upcoming 2021 KBS Drama Awards
It's already the end of the year, and awards shows are starting to occupy various online sites and ready to make big headlines for the nominees and winners for the yearly drama award celebration.
In 2020, the show was held virtually in compliance with the safety protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19. But for 2021, there will be new changes for the forthcoming event. It has been said that KBS Drama Awards will be held face-to-face as the situation gets better and the quarantine system is made more accessible to a wider community.

KDrama Stars Kim So Hyun and Lee Do Hyun Previous Achievements
Meanwhile, Kim So Hyun has remained one of the Kdrama actresses achievers who have received multiple awards due to her eminence in acting. She won the Excellent Actress Award and Best Couple Award alongside Jang Dong Yoon for their drama "Tale of Nokdu" in 2019.
She also took home the Netizen and Best New Actress Awards in 2015 for her portrayal in "Who Are You: School 2015."
Kim So Hyun's latest achievement was when she bagged major awards at Korea Broadcasting Awards last September for her performance in KBS' "River Where the Moon Rises."
On the other hand, Lee Do Hyun never fails to show his impressive acting with his previous dramas. He also won the Special Short Drama Award last 2019 at KBS Drama Awards. Another fruit of his hard work was the trophy he got at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards held last May 13, 2021, where he was hailed as the Best New Actor for his outstanding acting in JTBC "18 Again,"
In addition, Lee Do Hyun is currently appearing on primetime every Wednesday and Thursday with his new drama "Melancholia."
Meanwhile, the 2021 KBS Drama Awards is scheduled to take place on December 31 and will be broadcast live.
