Lee Dong Wook Praises Wi Ha Joon for His Work Ethics + tvN Drops Enticing ‘Bad and Crazy’ Trailer

In a recent media interview, Lee Dong Wook talked about his upcoming thriller K-drama "Bad and Crazy" and shared his experiences working with his co-stars Wi Ha Joon, Han Ji Eun, and Cha Hak Yeon.

Why Lee Dong Wook Chose 'Bad and Crazy' as His Next Drama

Korean heartthrob Lee Dong Wook revealed he decided to star in "Bad and Crazy" because of writer Kim Sae Bom. He said that the script was magnificent and was already having so much reading it and thought that the drama would give viewers a new and refreshing kind of entertainment.

Lee Dong Wook further explained his role as Ryu Soo Yeol. According to him, "He is a corrupt detective and has no interest in justice. He does some unacceptable things in order to save his career. Soo Yeol is a person who is sometimes selfish who only thinks about his own gain."

The "Goblin" star added he will show a new side of him that viewers haven't seen from him in the previous dramas.

Meanwhile, Lee Dong Wook proudly expressed that the strength of their forthcoming series is the powerful and daring action. He was thankful for the martial arts team who helped them all throughout filming.

The lead star added that actors have great teamwork with the staff making a harmonious and happy atmosphere on the set.

Further, he praised director Yoo Sun Dong for being meticulous in every scene, proving his enthusiasm in doing the project.

Lee Dong Wook's First Impression of Wi Ha Joon

When asked about his first impression on his new co-star Wi Ha Joon, Lee Dong Wook shared, "He has a charming smile, I mistakenly thought him to be a bit distant, but after knowing him, Wi Ha Joon is very friendly and is always polite to his seniors and colleagues."

In addition, Lee Dong Wook said that the "Squid Game" actor is cool and has a respectable personality. The "My Girl" actor also praised his co-star's work ethics, saying, "Wi Ha Joon always comes prepared, he is very detailed when preparing things for work. He is diligent and works hard everyday on set."

Lee Dong Wook admitted that Wi Ha Joon's enthusiasm and energy gave him strength to give his best.

During the interview, Lee Dong Wook confessed it feels like home on set everytime they film together because everyone is busy yet knows how to enjoy every moment.
