Kang Ha Neul Returns on the Silver Screen with 'Pirates 2'
"Pirates 2: Goblin Flag," also referred to as "Pirates 2," tells the spectacular adventures of pirates gathered in the middle of the ocean to become the owner of the royal treasure that disappeared without a trace. The action-adventure movie is slated to premiere in January 2022.

The movie is comprised of talented actors, such as Kang Ha Neul who's expected to meet the viewers as Moo Chi, a self-proclaimed best swordsman and righteous leader in Goryeo.
The "When the Camellia Blooms" actor, who has strengthened his wide range of character transformations through his various works, will exhibit a new side as he plays the role of Moo Chi whose emotions change from being serious to being overjoyed.
'Pirates 2' Director Kim Jung Hoon Impressed by Kang Ha Neul's Brilliant Acting
In a written report from Newsen on December 20, a chop of an interview from Director Kim Jung Hoon was included, praising the talent of one of the movie's cast members, Kang Ha Neul.

According to Kim Jung Hoon, he admired Kang Ha Neul's acting because he always showed high concentration and effort for his role as Moo Chi. The director added that due to Kang Ha Neul's passion and persistence for acting while filming "Pirates 2," the actor's performance stands out.

"Pirates 2" marks Kang Ha Neul's first movie in 2022. Joining him are "Happiness" actress Han Hyo Joo, former "Running Man" member Lee Kwang Soo, "Stairway to Heaven" actor Kwon Sang Woo, EXO member and "Now, We Are Breaking Up" actor Oh Sehun, Chae Soo Bin, Kim Sung Oh, and Park Ji Hwan.
Ahead of its much-awaited release, Lotte Entertainment dropped a new "Pirates 2" trailer, giving the viewers a glimpse of the adventurous journey of the squad.
Meanwhile, Kang Ha Neul is also returning on the small screen with crime-mystery drama "Insider," set for release in the first half of 2022.
