'Our Beloved Summer' Records its Highest Viewership Rating
The month of December is decorated with youthful, innocent and refreshing romance with Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Sik's romantic comedy drama "Our Beloved Summer."
SBS TV's new rom-com is well-received by the public and premiered with a promising rating of 3.2% nationwide.
The drama saw a slight dip with its second episode as it recorded a nationwide rating of 2.6%, a slight lower rating than the pilot episode.
However, the drama bounced back in the succeeding weeks and recorded stable nationwide ratings of 3.1% in the third episode; 3.3% in the fourth episode and 3.7% in the fifth.
The sixth episode recorded a much higher rating of 4.0%. Though it was short-lived as the drama dipped once again back to 3.7% in the seventh episode that aired on December 27.

In the eighth episode of "Our Beloved Summer," the drama recorded its highest rating yet. The drama received a solid nationwide rating of 4.3% during its latest episode that aired on December 28.
As the story becomes more and more interesting, ratings of the series are expected to skyrocket even more.
'Our Beloved Summer' Episode 8 Recap
With the evident avoidance between Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi) and Woong (Choi Woo Sik), their feelings, worries and yearning become even stronger.
Woong, on the other hand, feels a new emotion apart from the others. When Yeon Soo and his best friend, Ji Woong (Kim Sung Cheol), spend a little more time with each other, Woong feels jealous.
He also reminisced about the time when they were still together, having fun on a sea trip. Although Woong is scared to know how Yeon Soo feels about him and their wrecked relationship, he braves and pours his honest feelings to his ex-girlfriend.
Because he misses Yeon Soo and how they were before, he confronts her about their complicated setup. Ironically, Yeon Soo thinks the same, and asks, "Do you want me to stay or leave?"
