On January 3, the agency Goodman Story Entertainment released an official statement, confirming that they had signed an exclusive contract with former Gugudan member Kim Na Young.
The agency expressed their excitement to be working with the talented Kim Na Young. "We will fully support her activities in various projects that will not be limited to any particular stage or media. Please look forward to Kim Na Young's new image as an actor, and give her a lot of support and love," they continued.

Goodman Story Entertainment is home to some popular stars like "Sisyphus: The Myth" actor Cho Seung Woo, "Island" actor Kang Pil Seok, "18 Again" actress Lee Eun Jae and more.
Kim Na Young's Career Prior to Becoming an Actress
Former Gugudan member Kim Na Young, alongside members Kim Se Jeong and Kang Mi Na, joined Mnet's idol-producing survival program "Produce 101."

While Kim Se Jeong and Kang Mi Na debuted as I.O.I members, Kim Na Young placed 14th in the final ranking, but debuted later in Jellyfish Entertainment's new girl group Gugudan.
During her time in Gugudan, she joined several musicals like "Mephisto" and plays like "Why Did You Come to My House?"

Gugudan officially disbanded on December 31, 2020. Kim Na Young left Jellyfish Entertainment in March 2021, following her contract expiration.

Kim Se Jeong and Kang Mi Na, alongside Kim Na Young, enjoyed their time as idols and are now delving more into acting.
Kim Se Jeong recently graced the small screen with acting prowess, taking on the main role in OCN's "The Uncanny Encounter" with Jo Byung Gyu and Yoo Jun Sang.
Currently, the idol-turned-actress is gearing up for her comeback drama "The Office Blind Date" with Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Min Gyu and Seol In Ah. It will air in the first half of 2022 on SBS TV.
