Han Ji Eun, Hong Jong Hyun and More Gear Up for 2022 Comedy Drama 'Ants Are Riding'
On January 6, TVING finally announced its upcoming comedy drama "Ants Are Riding" official lineup. The drama includes seasoned stars Han Ji Eun, Hong Jong Hyun, Jung Moon Sung, Kim Sun Young and Jang Gwang.
"Ants Are Riding" follows the various stories of five retail investors, known as "ants," as they learn more about friendship, love and life while investing in stocks. It depicts resonating stories of regular people who meet at an investment club and push forward to success.
The drama stars Han Ji Eun as the stock trading rookie Yoo Mi Seo, who experiences a letdown from being a bright bride-to-be to a sullen failed investor.
Opposite Hong Jong Hyun who transforms into the mysterious part-time convenience store worker Choi Sun Woo, who possesses a luxurious car.

Meanwhile, Jung Moon Sung plays the role of Kang San, an unemployed freeter. Kim Sun Young takes on the role of jokbal (pig feet) restaurant owner Jung Haeng Ja, while Jang Gwang becomes Kim Jin Bae, a retired English teacher who tries out stock investing.
The forthcoming drama is expected to serve refreshing and educational enjoyment to viewers. "Ants Are Riding" marks South Korea's first drama about stock trading.

Han Ji Eun and Hong Jong Hyun's new comedy drama "Ants Are Riding" is directed by "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" and "Beyond Evil" director Choi Ji Young.
It is penned by Im Yeon Soo, who is the brilliant mind behind the acclaimed comedic dramas "Birthcare Center," "The Sound of Your Heart" and "My Wife is Having an Affair This Week," to name a few.
The drama marks Hong Jong Hyun's return to television after his three-year inactivity, and the first drama together with Han Ji Eun.
"Ants Are Riding" is scheduled to air in the second half of 2022 on TVING.
Han Ji Eun on 'Bad and Crazy' with Lee Dong Wook, Wi Ha Joon and Cha Hak Yeon
Currently, Han Ji Eun is starring in the tvN's mystery thriller drama "Bad and Crazy" with Lee Dong Wook, Wi Ha Joon and Cha Hak Yeon. She stars as Lee Hui Gyeom, a detective of the Drug Crime Investigation Unit at the Mooui Police Department.

In the drama, she is the ex-girlfriend of Soo Yeol, played by Lee Dong Wook. Han Ji Eun perfectly delivers 100% synergy with the actors, receiving praises and solid viewership ratings.
"Bad and Crazy" is now finished with its second half with six remaining episodes. The drama airs every Friday and Saturday at 10:40 p.m. KST on tvN and iQIYI.
