Jung Chaeyeon and Yook Sungjae to Team Up in MBC's 'Golden Spoon'
K-media announced that DIA member and actress Jung Chaeyeon is now booked to lead the upcoming MBC drama "The Golden Spoon," along with fellow idol-actor Yook Sungjae.
After the news took over various portals, PocketDol Studio has confirmed that Jung Chaeyeon will join the lead cast of the drama.

"The Golden Spoon" is a webtoon-based series that centers the story on a kid who was born in a poor family and uses a mysterious golden spoon to switch fate with his close friend who is living a luxurious life.
Previously in the last quarter of 2021, BTOB's Sungjae was the first artist to confirm his participation. He takes the lead role, Lee Seung Chan, a person who dreams of becoming a rich guy through the use of the golden spoon.
Meanwhile, Jung Chaeyeon will play the character opposite Sungjae. Further details about her new drama role is yet to be announced soon.
"The Golden Spoon" will be Chaeyeon and Sungjae's first drama together. The series also marks Sungjae's small screen comeback following his discharge from the military.
What We Know About 'The Golden Spoon' and its Lead Stars
Jung Chaeyeon just finished her successful historical-romance drama "The King's Affection" where she portrayed the character of No Ha Kyung. She is expected to show great chemistry with Yook Sungjae in their first drama team-up.
Writers behind the dramas "Winter Sonata," "The Snow Queen," "Little Bride," and "My Fair Lady" - Kim Eun Hee and Yoon Eun Kyung - are also the creatives to pen the script for "The Golden Spoon."

"The Golden Spoon" is said to start its production and aim to be released in the first half of 2022.
Before his much-awaited drama comeback, Yook Sungjae previously made his appearance in "Master in the House" last December 2021, where he used to be a mainstay, alongside Lee Seung Gi, Yang Se Hyung, Lee Sang Yoon, and Kim Dong Hyun. He reunited with his fellow co-stars years after he left the show for his military service commitment.
Furthermore, Sungjae, together with his BTOB members, had their fan meeting last January 1 at SK Handball Stadium in Olympic Park.
