Four months after "Squid Game" hit the world by storm, lead star Jung Ho Yeon surprised fans with never-before-seen photos of her co-stars on the set of the globally-renowned drama.

Model-turned actress Jung Ho Yeon took her followers y surprise on Instagram by posting never-before-seen snaps of her "Squid Game" co-stars on the set.
The photos were taken with a film camera on the set of Netflix's original series "Squid Game." The first one was taken behind the scenes of the filming of Glass Stepping Stones game.
There, Heo Sung Tae, who played the role of Jang Deok Soo, was busy doing his hair and makeup before shooting his scene. Jung Ho Yeon also tagged the actor in the photo.
Meanwhile, other contestants were seen wearing the iconic green tracksuit. The actress also included pictures of white canvas shoes they wore during the game. Masked managers were also spotted wearing their pink suits.

In the never-before-scene photos, the set was covered in vibrant light bulbs. Jung Ho Yeon took some pictures of them from different angles.
In addition, almost two days after the "Squid Game" star posted the images, her post gained more than two million heart reactions.

Netflix Korea and her fans even commented on the post, mentioning that they already miss the drama and its cast.
Jung Ho Yeon broke the record of becoming the first Korean star who is the most followed public figure on Instagram. After she starred in the phenomenal K-drama "Squid Game," the model-actress had a massive following on socmed. She even captured the attention of some of the biggest Hollywood celebrities, who also followed her on the photo-sharing app.
As of press time, Jung Ho Yeon has more than 23 million followers.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old star is nominated at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by Female Actor in Drama Series, competing against Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Snook, and Elisabeth Moss. Her co-star Lee Jung Jae was also nominated in the Best Actor category.
"Squid Game" also earned a nomination in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and made history as the first non-English language TV series to be included in the list of nominees.
