In 2009, rumor sparked that Lee Jin Woo is dating his "Air City" co-star Choi Ji Woo.
Because of their similarities in lifestyle, thoughts, and religious beliefs, they became close and turned friendship into romance.
At the time, people around them didn't notice their hush-hush relationship not until they were photographed together.
A paparazzi shot spread like wildfire on the internet that showed Lee Jin Wook driving his Porsche car in the Hallyu star's neighborhood.
Following the rumors, Choi Ji Woo's then agency Olive9 revealed that the "Stairway to heaven" star is dating Lee Jin Wook.
In one interview, the actress said that she is in no rush to settle down and they have not considered marriage.
Unfortunately, their romance came to an end in 2011. After three years of dating, the couple broke up but didn't reveal the reason behind this.
At the time, it was confirmed by their respective agency but asked the public to give them privacy.
On the other hand, years after their break-up, Choi Ji Woo spoke about her previous relationship and mentioned that if given a chance, she would prefer to have a private relationship instead of going public about this.

Lee Jin Wook Dating History: Gong Hyo Jin
Three years after his relationship with the "Temptation" star, Lee Jin Wook is rumored to be dating another Hallyu star, this time with Gong Hyo Jin.
In May 2014, local news agency Sports Seoul revealed that the "Voice" star is seeing the award-winning actress.
The outlet mentioned that Gong Hyo Jin met the actor through a meeting with film industry personalities and immediately got closer because they share the same passion.
At the time, fans even dubbed them the "visual couple" because of their model-like appearance and fashion style.
However, things went south after her agency, Soop Entertainment, confirmed that she and Lee Jin Wook had separated but could not disclose the details behind their split.
"The couple recently broke up and the exact time and details of their break-up cannot be made public since it's a private matter," Gong Hyo Jin's agency said.
Meanwhile, Lee Jin Wook's then agency, Will Entertainment, explained that the duo "has decided that they make better friends than lovers."
