The 12-part episode series created a massive craze in social media as netizens hyped the cast members and the impressive storyline of the Kdrama.

According to Flix Patrol, a site that counts global online video service streaming rankings, "All of Us Are Dead" took the top spot for five consecutive days as the best Netflix tv show.

Interestingly, the K-zombie series garnered approximately 124.79 million hours viewed in just three days after the debut.

Moreover, from 25 countries, the South Korean series is now the leading TV show in 91 countries, including India, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Germany, Japan, and more.

With the Kdrama's global craze, several international outlets lauded "All of Us Are Dead" for its unique plot and impressive cast lineup.

In addition, Variety noted that the latest K-zombie series surpassed the reign of HBO's "Euphoria," starring Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, and more, as the top trending topic on Twitter.

The weekly chart is based on the publication's trending TV chart based on the audience interactions, including retweets, tweets, likes, and hashtags from January 24 to 30.

Variety also explained that the Netflix Kdrama displayed a "massive upswing in user engagement on Twitter over the weekend," defeating "Euphoria's" four-week reign.

Apart from HBO's teen drama, the Lee Jae Gyoo directed Kdrama also surpassed the success of the blockbuster Korean series "Squid Game."

According to Flix Patrol, "All of Us Are Dead" exceeded the Netflix record of "Squid Game" after achieving 124.79 million hours viewed in three days after the worldwide premiere.

Meanwhile, the survival game-themed Kdrama has 63.19 million hours of viewing time recorded from September 17 to September 19, 2021.

Is 'All of Us Are Dead' Worth the Hype?

The answer is definitely! Although it is based on the popular webtoon "Now at Our School" created by Joo Dong Geun in 2009.

In an interview with Gossip Chimp, "All of Us Are Dead," director Lee Jae Gyoo revealed the difference between the webtoon and the series.

He explained that they kept the original highlights of the story but added a few details that would make it relevant to the modern day.

"The flow of the storyline also doesn't depart much from the original. However, you might get the feeling that the show is different from the original as far as the specific situations that happen to some of the kids as well as what each of the characters are like," he said.

As for the overwhelming success, the director shared that he was in awe of the public's reaction and thankful for the support.
