JTBC's upcoming romance drama "Thirty-Nine" unveiled a sneak peek of Lee Tae Hwan's character, and his romantic moment with Kim Ji Hyun!
The drama follows the stories of three high school best friends who are now about to turn 40. It tells the beautiful, romantic yet melancholic daily lives of the three 39-year-old women.
Son Ye Jin transforms into Cha Mi Jo, a dermatologist in Gangnam. Jeon Mi Do plays the role of Jung Chan Young, an acting teacher who once dreamed of being an actress. Finally, Kim Ji Hyun stars as department store cosmetics manager Jang Joo Hee.
In the drama, Lee Tae Hwan takes on the role of Park Hyun Joon, a handsome young chef and the owner of the fusion Chinese restaurant Chinatown.

Park Hyun Joon's restaurant is located in Jang Joo Hee's neighborhood, interestingly. He was originally offered to be a chef at a hotel, but refused to pursue his dreams to cook his own dishes and decided to open a small restaurant instead.

The newly published still photos stir anticipation and excitement for Lee Tae Hwan and Kim Ji Hyun's characters. Park Hyun Joon oozes charisma as a talented chef in one of the photos.
He also shows his passion in cooking as he becomes totally absorbed whenever he's in his kitchen. Park Hyun Joon draws attention not only for his handsome face and tasty dishes, but also for his restaurant's homey and friendly atmosphere.

The 26-year-old actor Lee Tae Hwan started his career with his fellow 5urprise members including Gong Myung, Seo Kang Joon, Yooil and Kang Tae Oh in the television series "After School: Lucky or Not."
Lee Tae Hwan appeared in many popular dramas like "W" with Han Hyo Joo and Lee Jong Suk and "Touch" with Joo Sang Wook and Kim Bo Ra.
The actor recently appeared in the 2020-2021 historical comedy drama "Royal Secret Agent" with Kim Myung Soo, Kwon Nara, Lee Yi Kyung and Jo Soo Min.
