On Thursday, April 7, 2022, Saram Entertainment, Jung Ho Yeon's agency, officially announced that the actress was casted to play the lead role in "The Governesses," a film by Joe Talbot.

Based on the novel of the same name by French author Anne Serre, "The Governesses" depicts the story of three rebellious governesses. They upend the household they work in and enlivens the minds of the boys in their care. Additionally, they ignite the imaginations of the couple who employs them.

Jung Ho Yeon, Lily-Rose Depp and Renate Reinsve work together for the first time to play the three governesses.

Lily-Rose Depp is the daughter of the Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp. She appeared in projects like "The Dancer" and "Wolf."

Meanwhile, Renate Reinsve bagged the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her leading role in "The Worst Person in the World."

Joe Talbot is an award-winning filmmaker who created the popular American film "The Last Black Man in San Francisco."

Jung Ho Yeon To Work With Cate Blanchett in Upcoming Thriller Drama

Jung Ho Yeon joins the star-studded cast of Alfonso Cuarón's Apple TV+ thriller series "Disclaimer."

The drama stars award-winning stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

"Disclaimer," which is based on the novel of the same name by Renee Knight, revolves around the story of a successful television documentary journalist who becomes a key character in someone else's work.

In the drama, Jung Ho Yeon plays the role of Kim. She is an ambitious, hardworking and eager-to-please person who works for Catherine Ravenscroft, played by Cate Blanchett.

The production unit of the upcoming series "Disclaimer" hasn't announced its exact release date and additional cast members yet.
