What We Know So far About Seo Ye Ji's New Drama 'Eve'

There's no denying that "Eve" is among the highly anticipated series this year since it is also Seo Ye Ji's return to the small screen after the mega-hit series "It's Okay Not to Be Okay" with Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se.

In September 2021, months after her catastrophic controversy, the 32-year-old beauty is courted to headline the upcoming K-drama with Park Byung Eun. At the time, the romance drama series was titled "Eve's Scandal."

Two months later, Seo Ye Ji, alongside Yoo Sun, Park Byung Eun, and Lee Sang Yeob, confirmed their appearance as the lead stars of tvN's "Eve."

Following the confirmation of the cast lineup, the broadcast network announced that the production is set to begin on November 24.

Helmed by the "Dinner Mate" director Park Bong Sub and penned by "Birth of a Beauty" screenwriter Yoon Young Mi, "Eve" follows the story of a chaebol's 2 trillion won or approximately $1.7 billion divorce lawsuit.

Seo Ye Ji took the role of Lee Ra El, a stunning woman whose parents are both beautiful and established persons.

Her once quiet life turned chaotic after marrying CEO Kang Yoon Gyeom, played by Park Byung Eun.

Lee Ra El is described as a "dangerous flower" with a captivating fatal charm.

At the height of her messy divorce, human rights lawyer Seo Eun Pyung, portrayed by Lee Sang Yeob, was stunned by Lee Ra El's beauty.

Meanwhile, Yoo Sun took the role of a powerful politician's only daughter named Han So Ra, who is obsessed with looking and feeling young.

As mentioned, tvN's "Eve" is Seo Ye Ji's follow-up project after the "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" series and her 2021 thriller mystery movie "Recalled" with Kim Kang Woo.
