Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, Shin Dong Wook, and more introduced their characters for the upcoming series "Woori the Virgin" which is set to kick off in May on SBS.
'Woori the Virgin' First Script Reading
Before its much-anticipated premiere in May, SBS started promoting its forthcoming K-drama "Woori the Virgin" also known as "From Today We Are." This is the Korean adaptation of the US television series "Jane the Virgin."
First Glimpse to Im Soo Hyang & Sung Hoon’s K-Drama ‘Woori The Virgin’
On April 15, the broadcasting company released behind-the-scenes photos of "Woori the Virgin" first script reading. It was also the first gathering event for the drama's cast and crew members. Present at the table reading were lead stars Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, Shing Dong Wook, Hong Ji Yoon, Hong Eun Hee, Kim Soo Ro, and Yeon Un Kyung.
Director and scriptwriter Chung Jung Hwa headed the conference and received enthusiastic support from the team. When the event began actors and actresses boasted a perfect combination. Excitement was seen in their responses to each other.
Sung Hoon and Im Soo Hyang's Impressive Synchronization
This is Im Soo Hyang's drama return following "When I Was The Most Beautiful" in 2020. She takes the role of Woori, an assistant writer of a popular "Makjang" drama. She will reunite with Sung Hoon, who will play the character of Raphael.

According to News 1, the two lead stars were synced while exchanging their lines. They drew admiration from everyone and already made good chemistry with the other cast members. Their small screen reunion is one of the reasons why viewers are excited to see the drama.
The second lead actor Shin Dong Wook showed off his unique presence by transforming into the character of Lee Gang Gae, who has developed pure love with Woori. Hong Ji Yoon is Lee Ma Ri, Raphael's wife.
Meanwhile, Hong Eun Hee will immerse herself in the character of Bae Eun Ran. She is an instructor who has dreamed of becoming a singer. Adding to the star-studded cast are Kim Soo Ro and Yeon Un Kyung, who instantly became immersed in their roles and raised the tension in the room with their passionate acting.
'Woori the Virgin' To Make Drama Debut in May
Furthermore, "Woori the Virgin" is slated to premiere this coming May 9 and will have its regular broadcast on Monday and Tuesday at 9 p.m. (KST).
