‘Yumi’s Cells’ Season 2: Kim Go Eun, GOT7 Jinyoung Draw Excitement in New Trailer
TVING released another exciting teaser featuring Kim Go Eun and GOT7 Jinyoung's love line in "Yumi's Cells" season 2.
In addition, the new trailer features Yumi's adorable cells as the protagonist gets on with her newfound romance.
'Yumi's Cells' Season 2 Trailer
Kim Go Eun's new drama is based on the webtoon of the same name. Following the success of season 1, the sequel will feature another romance of Yumi.
In the rom-com K-drama, the actress took the role of Kim Yumi, an ordinary office girl who lives an extraordinary life alongside her loveable cells.
Meanwhile, GOT7's Jinyoung reprised his role as Yoo Bobby. From being a colleague to an office friend, his role transformed as Yumi's love line in season 2.
As seen in the "Yumi's Cells" season 2 trailer, the cells at Sepho Village are once again disturbed by a possible romance with Yumi. While her friendship with Yoo Bobby flourishes, Yumi opens up her heart after heartbreak with Goo Woong.

In the second trailer, Kim Yumi can't hide her excitement for Yoo Bobby. She suddenly feels uneasy and awkward being around her office friend.
At the same time, her cells, headed by Love as her primary cells, gear up for Yumi's new romantic journey with Yoo Bobby.
Interestingly, Yoo Booby raised his intentions by asking Yumi on a date, sending her cells into a frenzy.
In the last clip of "Yumi's Cells" season 2 trailer, Yumi was surprised as Yoo Bobby leaned for a kiss.
As noted by an outlet, the production team teased viewers with the undeniable chemistry of Kim Go Eun and GOT7's Jinyoung, saying that the two lead stars "are going to draw excitement with sweet chemistry."
Moreover, the team also invited fans to "look forward to Kim Go Eun's delicate and lively acting" as well as "Park Jin Young's performance."
'Yumi's Cells' Season 2: What to Expect in Kim Go Eun's Drama?
Before the webtoon based series first aired in September 2021, director Lee Sang Yeob, who also helmed K-dramas such as Shopping King Louie" and "A Piece of Your Mind," revealed that "Yumi's Cells" would air with multiple seasons as the series will showcase Kim Jo Eun's love journey.
To recall, the first season highlights her traumatic breakup, which left her primacy cell in a deep coma. However, things change when she falls head over heels with Goo Woong, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, after they first met on a blind date.
Viewers are drawn to the duo's budding romance as it features the reality of dating. Unfortunately, Yumi's once happy romance ended after they mutually agreed to end things, with Goo Woong giving Yumi the "break up card."
As the K-drama continues, season 2 will focus on her new relationship with Yoo Bobby.
Joining Kim Go Eun and GOT7's Jinyoung are some of the familiar faces. Ahn Bo Hyun will return as Goo Woong, while Lee Yoo Bi will reprise her role as Ruby.
SHINEE's Minho will also make a cameo as Chae Woo Ki.
"Yumi's Cells" season 2 release date is set to air on June 10 via tvN and iQiyi for subtitles.
