While "The Roundup," starring Ma Dong Seok and Son Seok Koo, continues to dominate the box office, "Broker," led by Song Kang Ho, IU, Kang Dong Won, Bae Doona, and Lee Joo Young, is gearing up for its theatrical premiere.
Following their achievement at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2022, the drama movie directed by Japanese filmmaker Koreeda Hirokazu is also set to score millions of audiences for its debut.

In a report cited by Ten Asia, CJ ENM, the distributor of "Broker," shared that the upcoming movie took the top spot in reservation rates released by Yeongjinwi integrated computer network.
Two days after the theatrical release, the drama film achieved a recorded 29.7 percent in reservation market share, ranking first in the overall reservation rate.
With this, "Broker" surpassed the reservation rates of international and local films, including the highly anticipated "Jurassic World: Dominion" and the blockbuster film "The Roundup."

Currently, the Ma Dong Seok and Son Seok Koo-led movie, which is also called "The Outlaws 2," has exceeded 9 million audiences since it was released on May 18, making it consistent as the leading movie at the box office.
In addition, "The Roundup" has become the first movie since 2019 to hit the 8 million mark.
'Broker' Release Date, Cast and More
Although it already premiered at Cannes Film Festival last May 26 and received a surprising 12-minute long-standing ovation, "Broker" will have its official theatrical debut on June 8.
CJ ENM has been inviting viewers through teasers and videos from cast members like IU, Lee Joo Young and more to check out the upcoming release of the movie.
"Broker" follows the story of a young mother who had no choice to leave her infant in a "baby box" or a drop box that provides a safe location for children to be placed for adoption.
IU took on the role of So Young and meets two brokers, Sang Hyun and Dong Soo, played by Song Kang Ho and Kang Dong Won, who are responsible for finding babies their new family.
However, the detectives Soo Jin and Lee, played by Bae Doona and Lee Joo Young, are tracking down brokers.
The Koreeda Hirokazu-directed movie is among a few selected Korean films that are invited to join the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
"Broker" alongside "Decision to Leave" competed at the coveted Palme D'or and eventually took home the Best Actor Award for Song Kang Ho, making him the first South Korean actor to take home the title.
