The host of the long-running music program "Korea Sings" Song Hae bid his last goodbye to the viewers on Wednesday, June 8 as he died at 95.

Song Hae, the host of the long-time running music program "Korea Sings" died at 95 on June 8 after collapsing in his home due to old age.

On June 10, family, close friends and numerous celebrities in the entertainment industry attended the late TV Host's funeral.

Song Hae is remembered as a teacher, a father figure to all broadcasters for the past 70 years. Although saddened, the attendees wish the late Song Hae to reunite with his late wife and son in heaven in peace.

In particular, celebrities including Yoo Jae Suk, Kang Ho Dong, Jo Se Ho, Choi Yang Rak and Yang Sang Guk were the pallbearers of Song Hae's coffin as it was transported into the hearse.

Before heading to the burial site, the funeral procession visited the "Song Hae Street" at Nakwon, Jongro, Yeouido, which includes locations such as Song Hae's favorite restaurant, hair salon and sauna.

In addition to that, public figures such as Korea Broadcast Comedy Association President Uhm Young Soo, Korea Singers Association Lee Ja Yeon and other veteran comedians also commemorated the life of the late TV host.

The South Korean entertainment industry as well as its netizens applaud Yoo Jae Suk's big heart and touching gesture.

On Monday, June 6, it was reported that the entertainer paid for a heart transplant patient's hospital bill which amounts to 12,000 USD.

The hospital supports those in need through donations, and only the person who receives the donation is informed of the name of the donor.

Because of this, family and friends thanked Yoo Jae Suk online in hopes to extend their gratitude to the soft-hearted television personality. In particular, Yoo Jae Suk is a well-known comedian who makes headlines year after year for his generosity.

In 2021, he donated to subsidize surgery costs for patients who couldn't afford hospital expenses. He also pays for surgeries of those in difficult circumstances once a month.
