Park Jinyoung reprised his role as Yoo Babi in "Yumi's Cells 2" alongside Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun.

To recall, he appeared in the middle of season 1 and was introduced as Yumi's new officemate.

Although he and Kim Yumi were in different departments, they were able to build a strong connection. Interestingly, he referred Yumi to his department and became their new assistant manager.

The second season focuses on Yoo Babi and Yumi's budding romance. Viewers are drawn to their on-screen chemistry.

As the GOT7 member spoke about his current Kdrama, he revealed his character's obsession.

For Park Jinyoung, he thinks that Yoo Babi has a "kind kid syndrome" and calls it an "obsession" to do well for others regardless of gender.

He mentioned that this attitude of his character "doesn't come out in the drama, if you look at Babi's story in the original webtoon, he says, 'I thought I just had to be nice blindly.'"

In the drama, his officemates and even Kim Yumi are fond of Yoo Babi's personality. He is not just charming but very polite and considerate of others.

In the recent episode of "Yumi's Cells 2," Yumi's parents were delighted with Yoo Babi and ecstatic that he was their daughter's boyfriend.

GOT7's Jinyoung and Kim Go Eun's drama is in the second half of the season, with episode 7 airing on July 1 via tvN and iQiyi for subtitles.
