In a KBS news broadcast that aired on June 30, Bae Suzy, who just made her long-awaited small-screen comeback, sat for an interview and talked about her new K-drama "Anna."
During the talk, the actress expressed her desire to do her role justice. This is why she consulted a psychological expert about the situations of her character in detail.
According to the Dior ambassador, "We shared our concerns about what energy it would be convincing and realistic to act with. Lee Yu Mi is an extremely anxious person, so she can lie diligently. I think I was able to create Yu Mi with the help of a professional."
She went on and commented on the part where she sympathized with Anna or Yu Mi, "I felt genuine emotions when I read the script. The similarity that these two characters have is diligence. The other one lies diligently in her way and tries to live as a person she created."

Suzy mentioned her way of internalizing her character. She said that since Yu Mi is a character who tells endless lies to live as Anna, the female lead started to bring Yu Mi's role into life, the same approach to the opposite role, Anna.
