According to Korean Film, Yi Ok Seop made her debut as a director in 2010 with the short film "Please, Find My Mom."
Her debut feature was the 2019 movie "Maggie" which stars Goo Kyo Hwan, Moon So Ri, and Lee Joo Young. Interestingly, it is the 14th film project officially supported by the National Human Rights Commission of the Republic of Korea. It won the Citizen Critics' Award at the Busan International Film Festival, Audience Award, and the Grand Prix at Osaka Asian Film Festival.
Goo Kyo Hwan Publicly Confessed his Love to director Yi Ok Seop
The actor is loud and proud about his longtime relationship and does not shy away from confessing his love to director Yi Ok Seop.
According to an outlet, during his appearance at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival for the premiere of the film "Love Villain," directed by Yi Ok Seop, Goo Kyo Hwan made the audience's hearts flutter as he talked about his relationship.
The host asked him about his "secret to maintaining your love for one person for a long time?" The actor simply described himself as someone who is "passionate" about love.
"When I am passionately in love, it's hard to say 'I love you no matter what, but one thing is for sure, I still like and love her so much," he said, referring to none other than his girlfriend of 9 years.
Besides the heartfelt answer, the actor was reportedly looking straight at the director, which made the crowd swoon over his sweetness.
