As "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" episode 6 continues, Yoon Se Poong and Lady Seo are curious about Seok Chul's well-being.

To visit him without gaining the attention of the people around him, the duo first went to Madam Jeodonggung to gather more information.

While checking on Madam Jeodonggung, they learned that Lord Cho is very spiritual and chose to seek help from shamans rather than doctors.

With this, the duo created a plan along with the rest of the Gyesoo clinic members on how they could treat young master Seok Chul.

Lady Nam Hae used her ability to foresee the future and help Lord Cho with decision-making and how someone from his household is giving everyone negativity.

The team also took this as an opportunity to help Seok Chul recover in their clinic.

Physician Kye Ji Han's Heart of Gold

With Seok Chul's status, Jang Goon reminds him of his devastating past and how Physician Kye Ji Han took him as if he was his son.

Lady Nam Hae also told Yoon Se Poong that Physician Kye, who always thinks about money, paid Jang Goon's father a hefty amount to release him from their house.

At this point, Yoon Se Poong was impressed by Kye Ji Han's empathy with the helpless.

The Culprit Behind Seok Chul's Case

The last scene features the group's plan to catch the real suspect.

After successfully laying out the plan, Lord Cho found out that it was his mistress who caused the misery of the young boy. She fed him nothing but salt, causing him severe dehydration and prompting him to have hallucinations.

Thankfully, she was caught red-handed and was sentenced to imprisonment.

As for Seok Chul, he tells Yoon Se Poong that he will study in Hanyang and become a physician like him.

Meanwhile, Jang Goon once again thanked Physician Kye for loving him unconditionally.
