The production unit of "Alchemy of Souls" surprises its viewers with an early Christmas gift as it announces the premiere of the second part of the show!

"Alchemy of Souls" Part 1 is about to close its curtains with its final week. On August 26, the production unit of the series finally confirmed that the second part of the series will be released in December 2022.
The series follows the story of the magical and intriguing world of mages whose fates are entangled due to the dangerous sorcery that swaps human souls. It stars Jung So Min, Lee Jae Wook, Shin Seung Ho, Hwang Minhyun and more.

At the moment, the cast ensemble and crew of "Alchemy of Souls" are filming the Part 2 of the series, and it is expected to end in fall.

In spite of the backlash and mixed reactions, "Alchemy of Souls" promises to greet the viewers in December with 90% of the original cast members including, excluding Jung So Min.
Go Yoon Jung To Replace Jung So Min in 'Alchemy of Souls' Part 2
For 10 consecutive weeks, Jung So Min captivated the viewers with her flawless transformation into Mu Deok, a shadow assassin who is imprisoned inside the body of a maidservant.
Mu Deok is considered by far the best among Jung So Min's popularly known acting roles. This is why the actress created buzz when she announced that she will not reprise her role in the second part of the show.

Through her agency, Bloom Entertainment, the actress revealed that she only signed the contract to only appear in the first part of "Alchemy of Souls."

Meanwhile, the production unit of the series refuses to disclose the reasons behind this as it could be a major spoiler for the final two episodes of the show.
Even more so, Go Yoon Jung, the rising actress who stole the hearts of many as Naksu in the series, is said to headline the upcoming second part of the series.
