Hwang Minhyun Dishes Out Honest Thoughts On 'Alchemy of Souls'
Singer-actor Hwang Minhyun opened up about his honest feelings on the highly loved series "Alchemy of Souls" after its conclusion.
Hwang Minhyun, who boasted his impressive acting skills, talked about his experiences during its broadcast.
In "Alchemy of Souls," Hwang Minhyun took on the role of the handsome, intelligent and most powerful mage in Daeho.

Hwang Minhyun expressed his thanks to everyone who supported him and his character. For the singer-actor, "Alchemy of Souls" is a great opportunity and honor in his career.

He dished out his thoughts on the ending of the first part of the series, and stated, "Despite the tragedy, it's an ending that makes you anticipate what comes next."
The actor also reflected on his growth as an actor. Thanks to "Alchemy of Souls," he was able to mimic how his seniors work, and even discovered his advantages and weaknesses in the process.
Hwang Minhyun Spills Secret in Becoming Seo Yul
Since his character is an experienced mage with skillful sword skills, Hwang Minhyun needed to improve his physical abilities in order to become Seo Yul.

He also had various action scenes which successfully left the fans in awe. Prior to filming the drama, Hwang Minhyun revealed that he attended action schools with the rest of the cast of "Alchemy of Souls."
Hwang Minhyun learned how to efficiently use the sword and martial arts with the guidance of their martial arts teacher and stunt actors.

Although he had many inhibitions, he used his determination and perseverance to ace every stunt scene he had, gargerning desirable results.
Apart from that, Hwang Minhyun also gave attention to the little details of his character, especially his miniscule facial expressions whenever his character feels strong emotions.
When asked whether he will set the one he loves free like Seo Yul did, Hwang Minhyun answered, "My happiness depends on the happiness of the person I like, so I would support her if she's happy with someone else."
According to the singer-actor, he will become like Seo Yul who's a silent cheerleader from the sidelines.
The second part of the series will be available in December 2022, with the participation of the original cast including Go Yoon Jung, Lee Jae Wook, Shin Seung Ho, Hwang Minhyun and more.
