Before collaborating with Hyun Bin, Lee Suk Hoon first worked with actress Son Ye Jin in the 2014 addiction-adventure film "The Pirates."
In an interview with a media outlet during the "Confidential Assignment " press conference, Mr. Lee shared how the power couple differs at work.
Hyun Bin Receives Praise From Director Lee Suk Hoon
Mr. Suk Hoon didn't hesitate to praise Hyun Bin for his keen eye for attention to detail. The director stated that it was his first time working with the "Secret Garden" actor. But though it was their first project together, he made an effort to familiarize himself with how Hyun Bin likes to film.

"I met with him, and we discussed a scenario in the movie. Since then, I have come to realize how detailed Hyun Bin is as an actor. He is incredibly precise in detail and accounts for every outcome in his preparation."
He added that Hyun Bin is the type of actor who insists on doing action scenes himself. As he shares about working with top actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, Suk Hoon stated that he believed they were great for each other.

According to Lee Suk Hoon, "I was lucky enough to have worked with the power couple. As someone who has worked with both of them on different projects, I thought they would get along great with each other."
The Korean director then mentioned the differences between the celebrity couple. Mr. Lee said that Son Ye Jin is the one that lets things play out, while Hyun Bin is much more detail-oriented. With that, Lee Suk Hoon believed that the two are perfect for each other.

He continued, "I didn't receive any news from Son Ye Jin during the filming of 'Confidential Assignment 2, fortunately - I met her at the wedding and talked about other things. But now, I am curious to know what kind of director Son Ye Jin told Hyun Bin I was, although I didn't ask."
Furthermore, "Confidential Assignment 2: International," which stars Hyun Bin, SNSD's Yoona, Yoo Hae Jin, Daniel Henney, and Jin Suk Kyu is scheduled to hit the big screen starting September 7.
