Goo Hye Sun Weight Gain: ‘Boys Over Flower’ Star’s Recent Changes Sparks Buzz

Goo Hye Sun on Recent Weight Gain
The 37-year-old star graced the second day of the 27th Busan International Film Festival which took place in Seoul Cinema Center, stunning the crowd wearing a black mini dress with layered tulle details.
Goo Hye Sun waved to the crowd, smiling brightly as she strutted her style on the red carpet.
Despite her recent weight gain, netizens lauded the actress' recent visuals noting that she looked much healthier and happier. Others also mentioned that she looked prettier and younger after gaining a few pounds.
According to an outlet, Goo Hye Sun gave her honest thoughts about the online buzz surrounding her appearance.
"I think I'll be upset because my recent weight has become an issue," she said; however, she pointed out that she "can just lose weight again."
Ahead of the 27th Busan International Film Festival, the "Angel Eyes" star spoke about her recent physical changes and explained the reason behind her weight gain.

On Goo Hye Sun's Instagram, the actress revealed that she is going through emotional distress.
"I gained a bit of weight because I was going through some things. I'll come to the '2022 Busan International Film Festival' restored. See you at the Busan International Film Festival in 2022" she captioned her post along with photos at the film festival.
Goo Hye Sun Admits Struggling to Lose Weight
This is not the first time that Goo Hye Sun spoke about changes in her physique, especially her weight gain.
In her interview back in 2019, the actress confessed that she struggled with diet and one of the factors behind it was her then-husband, Ahn Jae Hyun, as a possible reason.
"My husband really likes chicken and I can't stand to see leftovers," she said, sharing that she ended up eating leftovers causing her to add a few pounds to her weight.
Besides trying to lose weight through diet but she failed, she revealed that she attempted to workout again but the actress finds it difficult to do it consistently.
Best known for her role in "Boys Over Flowers" Goo Hye Sun who was then a rookie actress, captivated viewers with her stunning visuals as she delivered her role, Geum Jan Di with an amazing performance.
She is joined by Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum, Kim Hyun Joong, and Kim Joon as lead stars who played F4 members.
After solidifying her name as an actress, Goo Hye Sun entered the world of directing and scriptwriting.
One of her works includes short films "The Madonna," "Peach Tree" and her recent "Dark Yellow" which recently won an award.
