Kim Yoon Jin shared her thoughts regarding her title "Queen of Thrillers" as she stars in another suspense crime movie "Confession."

Ahead of the movie's premiere, the actress talks about her upcoming movie with So Ji Sub and Nana.

In an interview with the media, the 48-year-old star talks about being named the industry's "Queen of Thrillers."

Known for her versatility, Kim Yoon Jin is among the stars who could perfectly portray different characters in any kind of genre, however, she is known for headlining thriller and suspense series or films.

Gaining the moniker "Queen of Thrillers" she revealed that she is "still burdened by the nickname given to her.

"I don't know when, but I think there will be a day when I will accept the modifier "Queen of Thrillers," she said, as obtained by the outlet.

For the actress, it is the type of genre that she liked very much, adding that while it is important for actors to choose the next project based on plot and scenario, however, she still ends up choosing and starring in thrillers projects.

Kim Yoo Jin made her debut in 1996 after starring in the MBC series "Splendid Holiday" with Choi Jae Sung.

In the same year, she also had her big screen debut, playing the lead role of Lee Myung Hyun in the action thriller film "Shiri" where viewers witnessed her solid acting.

Apart from her top not performance in "Shiri" Kim Yoo Jin also pulled off flawless acting in the 2007 film "Seven Days" followed by "The Neighbors" and the K-drama "Miss Ma, Nemesis" hence, she was given the title "Queen of Thrillers" because of these.

In the upcoming thriller crime film, "Confession" Kim Yoon Jin took the role of lawyer Yang Shin Ae, who has a 100 percent winning rate.

She was hired by tech CEO Yoo Min Ho, portrayed by So Ji Sun to defend him after he was accused of being the prime suspect in a murder case involving Kim Se Hee, played by Nana.

Helmed by Yoon Jong Seok, who directed the 2009 movie "Marine Boy," "Confession" is a Korean remake of the popular 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest, directed by Oriol Paulo.

Interestingly, the movie, which is slated to have its theatrical release on October 26, made its premiere at 36th Fribourg International Film Festival back on March 20, 2022.

In addition, "Confession" was also screened at the 24th Udine Far East Film Festival on April 30, 2022, as the closing film of the festival.

Prior to the Korean movie "Confession" Kim Yoon Jin played police inspector Seon Woo Jin in "Money Heist Korea."

Her role is based on the character of police inspector Raquel Murillo, who was assigned as the lead during the Royal Mint heist but later on become a part of the group known as her alias, Lisbon.
