Amid the hype of the actress' new movie "20th Century Girl," she and the young idol set the internet into a frenzy after people spotted their similarities. What's more is that the news reached the actress, and humbly expressed her feelings on the comparison.
Since the news became the talk of the town, the "Backstreet Rookie" lead star was asked about it during the press conference of her new movie.

NewJeans is a five-member group that debuted under ADOR, HYBE's sub-label, last August 1. The quintet is composed of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.
Kim Yoo Jung Admits Being Huge Fan of NewJeans
Interestingly, Kim Yoo Jung confessed that she's a big fan of NewJeans!
According to the actress, she became a fan since the girl group's debut and added that she likes each member. The "Lovers of the Red Sky" star also shared her sentiment about her similarity with Danielle.
"I think I know what they (fans) mean by that. We have a similar vibe, but with a different style. I am really happy because a lot of people were saying that I looked like a pretty girl who's popular these days."
Their similarities are indeed uncanny, which is enough for them to pass off as sisters.
Kim Yoo Jung To Make Small Screen Comeback With 'Sweet and Spicy Chicken'
Following her silver screen return with Netflix's "20th Century Girl," Kim Yoo Jung is gearing up to make her K-drama return. She is confirmed to appear in the web-based drama "Sweet and Spicy Chicken," also known as "Dakgangjeong."
Joining Kim Yoo Jung in her upcoming drama is veteran actor Ryoo Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong.
"Sweet and Spicy Chicken" is ready to meet the viewers in the first half of 2023. In addition, it will be helmed by Lee Byung Hun, who is also the man behind the dramas "Be Melodramatic" and "Alice, the Final Weapon."
