‘One Dollar Lawyer’ Episode 11-12: Namgoong Min Brings Light To Lee Chung Ah’s Case
"One Dollar Lawyer" highlights Namgoong Min's perseverance and dedication as a prosecutor who hopes to bring justice to his first love's cold-blooded murder case. Kim Ji Eun also opens up her heart to him, raising tension.
'One Dollar Lawyer' Episode 11: Cheon Ji Hoon Diligently Find Clues To Lee Joo Young's Murder
In episode 11, Cheon Ji Hoon (Namgoong Min) follows Cha Min Cheol (Kwon Hyuk Beom), the suspect in Lee Joo Young's (Lee Chung Ah) murder.
He stops him from doing something more tragic, especially when Cha Min Cheol points a knife at everyone inside an auction hall.
Afterwards, he faces the person who killed his father, Choi Gi Seok (Joo Seok Tae). He then becomes more determined to find the true suspect behind his first love's demise.
The next morning, Cheon Ji Hoon disappears. Baek Ma Ri (Kim Ji Eun) finds a letter on her desk from the former, saying that he's off to settle his unfinished business regarding his first love, leaving her heartbroken.
A year passes by and Baek Ma Ri has moved on with her life. Her dedication to her work took her to great places but despite it all, she doesn't seem very happy. She is still waiting for Cheon Ji Hoon to come back.

Elsewhere, Cheon Ji Hoon enjoys his life in the North Han Riven French Village, where he resides to provide free legal consultations to the villagers.
When Cheon Ji Hoon visits Baek Law Firm, he reunites with Baek Ma Ri who looks more delighted than ever.
He then offers an explanation for his sudden disappearance and thankfully, Baek Ma Ri forgives him in an instant. She then confesses her true feelings for him. With positive feelings, Cheon Ji Hoon returns to the law firm.
'One Dollar Lawyer' Episode 12: Baek Ma Ri Finally Reunites With Cheon Ji Hoon
The final episode begins with Cheon Ji Hoon and Cha Min Cheol who realized the harmful consequences of his actions by associating himself with Choi Gi Seok.
Cheon Ji Hoon then lures Cha Min Cheol who was once again under the spell of power and money; ready to take down anyone he was asked to kill.
Cha Min Cheol then escapes Choi Gi Seok's grip, realizing he was wrong. He then agrees to make a statement against the latter, the real killer of Lee Joo Young.
Choi Gi Seok then was captured, all of his wrongdoings were exposed to the public including fraud, embezzlement, murder and corruption.
He was then arrested with Cheon Ji Hoon as the prosecutor for the case. He then completes the trial and holds Choi Gi Seok responsible.
Cheon Ji Hoon then returned to the law firm as a lawyer and was convinced to increase his fee for bringing justice to many court cases.

"One Dollar Lawyer" ends with a satisfactory finale with Cheon Ji Hoon back at the law firm doing the thing he loves the most: bring light and justice to the oppressed.
In addition to that, he and Baek Ma Ri also relish in their positive feelings for one another.
