Before Shin Hyun Bin confirmed her appearance in "Reborn Rich" Bae Suzy is courted to headline the JTBC series along with Song Joong Ki.
After the South Korean heartthrob agreed to be part of the web novel-based K-drama, the idol-singer is rumored to join the series as the female lead.
Bae Suzy Offered to Play Shin Hyun Bin's Role in 'Reborn Rich'
At the time, Song Joong Ki had been receiving various projects but accepted "Reborn Rich" also known as "the Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" as his K-drama comeback.
It was after the success of "Vincenzo" hence why the public is eager to know which K-drama will the top star appear next.
Apart from Song Joong Ki's much-awaited comeback, viewers are also looking forward to seeing his future female lead.
Interestingly, back in may, Bae Suzy's name came up as one of his possible leading ladies
At the time, the idol-actress was reportedly courted to appear opposite the 37-year-old actor. Amid the rumors, her agency and drama officials have not addressed the rumors.

Meanwhile, fans expressed their excitement on Twitter and said that they couldn't wait to see the duo's visuals on one screen.
However, months after Bae Suzy's rumored project with Song Joong Ki, it was Shin Hyun Bin who bagged the role and was confirmed to play as "Reborn Rich's" female lead.
In the drama, Shin Hyun Bin, who rose to fame after landing the role of Dr. Jang in "Hospital Playlist" took the role of fearless Prosecutor Seo Min Young. She is dubbed as the "Soonyang Group's grim Reaper" for her eagerness to stop the illegal activities of the conglomerate.
On the other hand, Song Joong Ki plays the dual role of Yoon Hyun Woo and Jin Do Joon.
He is a loyal employee of Soonyang who will do everything for the company. Despite his devotion to the conglomerate, he was framed for embezzlement and was murdered because of it.
However, he was stunned to see that he was reincarnated as a member of Jin's family's youngest member and the grandson of Jin Yang Chul, played by Lee Sung Min, the founder of the Soonyang Corporation.
Despite Bae Suzy not joining the JTBC series, "Reborn Rich" gained the attention of viewers for its cast lineup.
Fans praised Lee Sung Min's portrayal of the first-generation chaebol as well as Kim Kang Hoon who played the young Song Joong Ki.
However, viewers had a mixed reaction to Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Bin's loveline in "Reborn Rich '' with some pointing out that the drama should stick to his revenge on Soonyang.
