Song Joong Ki, Shin Hyun Bin Admit Feeling ‘Guilty’ for Portraying College Students in ‘Reborn Rich’ – Here’s Why

Along with fellow co-star Lee Sung Min, the lead stars spoke about their experience filming the drama series.
Song Joong Ki, Hyun Bin Talk About Portraying College Students in 'Reborn Rich'
In a commentary video uploaded by JTBC, the "Reborn Rich" lead stars talk about the drama's episodes 3 and 4 as they watched a few scenes from the drama.
One particular scene featured Lee Sung Min's role, Soonyang Group founder Jin Yang Chul was standing in front of a pile of cash together with his grandson Jin Do Joon, played by Song Joong Ki.
As obtained by SBS Star, the veteran actor shared that they have to wait for a while for the production team to gather all the prop money for the scene.
As for Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Bin's team-up in "Reborn Rich," Lee Sung Min gave his thoughts about the duo's character as they portrayed college students.
The veteran actor lauded how his co-stars were able to pull off portraying younger characters when in reality they are in their mid-30s.
With this, Song Joong Ki admitted that there "was a sense of guilt" playing university students and as for Shin Hyun Bin, she felt a bit "embarrassed" especially when taking photos.

In "Reborn Rich" Song Joong Ki played Soonyang's employee named Yoon Hyun Woo who was reincarnated as the third generation chaebol Jin Do Joon who is the youngest grandson of Jin Yang Chul.
Meanwhile, Shin Hyun Bin took the role of Prosecutor Seo Min Young, who is known for her fearless personality, earning her the moniker of Soonyang's grim reaper.
In the first part of the revenge series, Jo Do Joon and Seo Min Young's life as college students were featured.
Jo Do Joon is among the popular students on campus while Seo Min Young worked various part-time jobs while in law school.
Amid the hype of the series, the character's portrayal of college students gained mixed reactions, especially with Song Joong Ki.
Did 'Reborn Rich' Use 'Too Much' Filter on Song Joong Ki's Face?
Viewers slammed the production team for using "too much" filter on Song Joong Ki's face to highlight his role as a university student.
The particular scene was Jin Do Joon being interviewed by a bunch of reporters after scoring another achievement at Seoul National University.
While others expressed their disappointment in the drama's visuals, some pointed out that it is part of the story's flashback and was supposed to be not a big deal.
"Reborn Rich" is a 16-episode series based on a web novel "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate."
Song Joong Ki's drama airs thrice a week, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday via JTBC, while subtitles are available on Viki and Viu TV.
